Voyage History

Over its last 30-plus voyages from August 2005, Solar 1 was loaded with approximately the same volume and weight of product. If this constituted “overloading” for each of these voyages, and if we assume that “overloading” contributed to the sinking of the vessel, then Solar should have sank a long time ago.

Petron's Flow Meters

Petron’s custody flow meters which measure outgoing products at its Bataan Refinery are state-of-the-art and accurate to 0.15%. The meters are “probed” regularly in accordance with the requirement of Industrial Technology and Development Institute which is under the DOST.
