Petron is providing relief packs to every family in the affected
areas. Each pack is filled with food items estimated to sustain a family of six
to eight for two days. Petron has completed distribution of the family packs to
all the affected families and will begin a new round of distribution. We will
continue the relief efforts as long as necessary.

"Task Force Guimaras" has been formed by the national government
through the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) to help mobilize
assistance to the province, and funds have been committed for this. The task
force is headed by Secretary of National Defense Avelino Cruz, and members
include the heads of the departments of Health, Social Welfare and Development,
Science & Technology, Transport and Communications, Energy, and Environment
& Natural Resources.
