Medical Mission

Petron recently completed its medical mission in the different barangays of Guimaras. Hundreds of Guimaranons were given proper diagnosis/treatment, as well as the required medicines. This activity was in coordination with the local government leaders and with the Municipal Health Officer. Boxes of medicines were also turned over to the Iloilo Provincial Health Office and Nueva Valencia.

Numbers served are as follows:

  • Lucmayan: 143 workers
  • Tando: 156 workers
  • La Paz: 509 workers/other residents
  • San Antonio: 257 workers and 51 residents
  • San Roque: 326 workers/ other residents
  • Unisan: 133 workers/other residents
  • Panobolan: 272 workers/other residents
  • Guiwanon: 327 workers/other residents
  • Cabalagnan: 307 workers/other residents
  • San Roque: 74 workers

GUIWANONS BENEFIT FROM MEDICAL MISSION (video)

A medical mission was conducted at Guiwanon island, Guimaras to check on the health of the community. The morning was allocated for people involved in the Cash for Work program. In the afternoon, the island residents were examined. Over 300 people availed of free medical services. Petron's medical team treated patients with problems, and gave them several days supply of medicine and vitamins. The Guiwanons appreciated the visit.
