Cleanup in three of the 11 coastal barangays in Nueva Valencia - Canhawan, Igdarapdap and Dolores - have already been completed.
Significant reduction of area cleaned on September 1 (2.55 kms.) was attributed to teams concentrating on the housekeeping of communities being cleaned and repacking of leaking sacks.
We will be briefing the different clean-up teams in connection with waste disposal issues and protocol.
